IN-PERSON PARTICIPATION
We look forward to welcoming all presenters/speakers, as well as other delegates who have chosen to attend our 2023 Congress in person, to Fredericton, NB from June 19-23. Please visit the various web pages provided by our Local Organizing Committee for important information about travel to Fredericton and places to stay and eat while there.
We have been advised that Fredericton is a very popular summer destination and hotel rooms get booked up starting in the Spring. Thus, we highly recommend that anyone who is even thinking of attending book accommodations as soon as possible to ensure that you have a place to stay. Make a note of the hotel’s cancellation policy (most are 48 hours prior to arrival) and if you decide you are unable to attend, release your room before that date and there will be no penalty. The CAP has secured temporary preferred room rates at three downtown hotels: The Hilton Garden Inn, the Crowne Plaza Hotel, and the Delta Hotel. All of these locations are within a reasonable walking distance, with the Delta being furthest away at 2 km.
Due to the very limited dining options on campus, delegates will pre-order lunches (for those staying on campus, breakfasts and lunches) as part of the registration process.
VIRTUAL PARTICIPATION
The CAP is pleased to advise that, with the collaboration of the University of New Brunswick, we anticipate being able to offer real-time virtual participation in the 2023 Congress through Zoom meeting rooms. Registration is now available. No presentations will be made virtually, nor will any of the sessions be recorded for access outside of the CAP Congress schedule.
REGISTRATION FEES
The registration fees listed below are in Canadian dollars. 15% HST will be added to these fees. Online registration for in-person attendance will open in April.
The in person full congress registration fee includes refreshments at several social events and health breaks for the duration of the conference. The CAP Banquet Dinner (Wednesday night), special lunch sessions, and some special events are not included in the registration fee, but you will be able to purchase tickets when you register, if you plan to attend.
The in person one-day registration fee includes the day’s health breaks. Business lunches, dinners, social events, and any special tours are not included in the one-day registration fee, but you will be able to purchase tickets when you register.
The registration fee for virtual participation is offered for those who are unable to attend in person but would like to be able to watch the talks “in real time”. There are no plans to record the sessions to make them available outside of the regular Congress schedule.
