Appeal Process

If your application for certification (or for exemption from the PPE) is rejected, CAP will send you a written notice outlining the decision and providing you with the reason(s) for refusing your application. You have the right to appeal the decision within ninety (90) days of mailing of the notice of decision. A CAP Applications’ Appeal Committee (chaired by a CAP Director or a member of the CAP Executive) will review your application and may request you to provide additional information or to present written or oral submissions. The Committee’s decision is final.

Where an appeal is launched following revocation of licence, an independently constituted Revocation and Suspension Appeal Committee (RSAC) will review the panel’s decision and may request the licensee to provide additional information or to present written or oral submissions. The RSAC’s decision is final.
