Are you interested in having a more active voice in the affairs of the CAP? We are looking for members at all stages of their careers to help provide direction and oversight of the CAP as we roll out our new strategic plan and member service initiatives!
The CAP invites you to volunteer or to nominate someone to fill one of the positions available on the CAP Board of Directors or Advisory Council. We also ask that you contact us if you are interested in serving on one of our many Board or Operating Committees.
The first call for nominations was issued on November 20, 2024. We are now accepting nominations, due January 15, 2025; the election will be held at the Annual General Meeting in June 2025.

CAP Board of Directors Positions to be filled (click to download the nomination form for each position):
- Vice-President Elect (4-year progression through Presidential line: 2025-2029)
- Director of Communications (completion of current term, to June 2027)
- Director of Private Sector Affairs (3-year term, June 2025-2028)
- Director of Student Affairs (3-year term, June 2025-2028)
- Secretary-Treasurer (3-year term, June 2025-2028)
CAP Advisory Council Positions to be filled (click to download the nomination form for each position):
- Undergraduate Student Councillor (1-year term, June 2025-2026)
- Graduate Student Councillor (1.5-year term, January 2025-June 2026)
Nominations may be filled out in hard copy and scanned, or digitally, and be sent to programs@cap.ca along with a short biography.
