The CAP is governed by a Board of Directors with input from an Advisory Council comprised of Councillors representing membership categories, Division Chairs, Regional Councillors, Councillors at Large and the Editor of Physics in Canada.
The Board of Directors is elected by the membership and is responsible for managing and supervising the activities and affairs of the Association.
The Advisory Council meets with the Board of Directors twice per year to provide advice on governance matters and to share information related to the diverse concerns and areas of interest within the association and the physics community.
An office and staff headquartered in Ottawa oversee the administration of the Association and its programs.
