Congratulations on your success in the Congress Best Student Presentation (BSPC) competition! We hope you will be able to submit an article about your work to the CAP’s physics magazine, Physics in Canada (PiC).
We are looking for a magazine-style article written in a style suitable for, and understandable to, any practising or student physicist. It is important to note that this article will not interfere with published work on the subject of your presentation or prevent you and your supervisor from including the research in a refereed journal paper.
Please review the following pages on the CAP website that outline general procedures for submission of articles to PiC:
Additional considerations for invited Student Award Articles:
- Please use this template (Microsoft Word) for your submission: Invited Student Award Articles.
- Your submission has a 1500 word limit, not including figures or references.
- This must be an original article (not a reprint).
- You must be the first author.
- As with any article, your co-authors must be made aware of the article. Thus, when you submit the article, please cc all of your co-authors so that we know they are indeed aware.
- Deadline for submission for consideration in the post-Congress issue of PiC is July 31. Please send your contribution to picpac@cap.ca.
