2020 CAP Congress Pre-Registration Tips

Make your registration process smooth, take advantage of early discounts and avoid delays by paying attention to the followings tips and information before you registering:

Renewing/signing up for CAP membership

You must have a valid CAP membership at the time of registering for Congress in order to qualify for CAP Member and Affiliate rates, and to compete in the Best Student Presentation Competition.

Please note it can take up to two business days in total to validate a CAP membership/affiliateship application. Therefore new and renewing membership applications must be received by the CAP Office no later than 11:59 pm EDT Wednesday, May 6th in order to be processed in time for you to benefit from early registration rates for members.

Undergraduate student affiliates pay a significantly discounted registration fee.  As it is free for undergraduate students to join the CAP, we do NOT offer a registration rate for non-affiliate undergraduates.  Sign up now if you plan to attend and are not already an affiliate!

Registration Payments

Credit cards are the ONLY mode of payment accepted for all Congress registrations.  Delegates whose registrations are going to be paid by someone else can submit their registration using the “Invoice Requested” option.  They will then be sent a link from the CAP office for credit card payment of their registration fees. NOTE:  Payment must be submitted within 48 hours of receiving the link, otherwise registration fees applicable at the time of payment will apply.  This is of particular importance for registrations which are submitted just before rates are scheduled to increase.
