You are invited to submit an abstract at Theory Canada 9, June 12th-15th Wilfrid Laurier University, a satellite conference of CAP. The Theory Canada conference was initiated in 2005 as a satellite conference for the Canadian Association of Physicists (CAP) congress. The conference provides theorists from all over Canada the opportunity to discuss physics and present work in frontiers of theoretical physics. The sessions includediverse topics in theoretical physics, and for Theory Canada 9 there are six sessions :
(i) Condensed Matter Theory & Computational Physics
(ii) Mathematical Physics
(iii) Particles and Fields
(iv) Quantum Information
(v) Relativity, Gravitation and Cosmology
(vi) Strings and Quantum Gravity.
Each session has two invited speakers and upto five contributed talks. The invited talks are of 30 minutes duration and the contributed talks are of 20 minutes duration. All the talks are at the level where inter-disciplinary research is encouraged. There is also a poster session at the conference.
The registration and abstract submission is processed through the webpage http://theorycanada9.wlu.ca/. There are no registration fees, and accommodation is free for PDF’s and graduate students. There will be free transportation provided on June 15th from Waterloo to Sudbury for CAP participants.
