We are pleased to announce that the first Canadian Workshop on Accelerator Science and Technology and Applications (CWASTA-2026) will be held as a one-day virtual/online workshop, on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm, Eastern Standard Time (Ottawa/Washington).
CWASTA-2026 is being co-organized by CNS-FEASTD (Canadian Nuclear Society – Fusion Energy and Accelerator Science and Technology Division), and CNS-STORID (Canadian Nuclear Society – Science and Technologies of Radio Isotopes Division.
This virtual workshop will have 8 speakers, along with two panel discussions.
CWASTA-2026 will provide an opportunity to learn more about ongoing efforts by various universities, government laboratories, and private sector companies and industry to develop accelerator science and technology and its numerous applications in research, health/medicine, energy, and industry.
Registration fees are low, with special discounts for members of various groups and societies (CNS, FECC, CAP, ANS, WiN, NAYGN, and others), students, government employees, members of organizational co-sponsors, and other groups. Early bird registration fees with discounts are only $50 CAD, and $25 CAD for students.
Early-bird registration deadline is Friday, October 23, 2026 (Extension from October 2, 2026)
Final registration deadline is Thursday, October 29, 2026 (Extension from October 23, 2026)
