A Carleton University research initiative addressing the challenges to equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) has secured more than $3.3 million in funding. The EDIT-STEM team will design and develop a technological framework to advance EDI in STEM, coupled with performing longitudinal studies across multiple organizations.
The CAP is a partner in this initiative and the CAP Board is looking for a member to appoint for a 2-year term (renewable) position on an EDIT-STEM Partners Committee being led by Dr. Rowan Thomson from Carleton University. A full description of this position can be seen here.
If you are interested in representing the CAP on this committee, please contact the CAP office at programs@cap.ca.
