Eateries on campus

 

Updated hours of the eateries on campus managed by Western’s Housing Department (those indicated below with a (*) can be found at https://eateries.uwo.ca/ In the “What’s Open section” of the first page of this website, one can find currently open eateries (all of the opening hours above may be subject to change). Online orders or pre-orders may be available, please check the eateries’ website.

  • Einstein’s Café (*) – Natural Science Centre (NSC) M – F, 08:00 – 15:00, Sat – Sun (Closed)
  • Subway (*) – University Community Centre (UCC) ground floor, M – F, 11:00 – 15:00, Sat – Sun (Closed)
  • Tim Horton’s (*) – UCC ground floor, M – Th, 07:30 – 19:00; F, 07:30 – 16:00; Sat – Sun (Closed)
  • Starbucks (*) – UCC lower floor M – F, 08:00 – 15:00, Sat – Sun (Closed)
  • The Grad ClubMiddlesex College (close to PAB). M, W, Th: 09:00 – 21:00 and Tu, F: 09:00 –22:00. Sit-in or order online for take-out. 
    • The Grad Club is owned and operated by the Society of Graduate Students (SOGS), a not-for-profit student advocacy organization at Western University. The Grad Club is not only an eatery and pub; it’s also an academic, social, and wellness space for the campus community.  The Heart of Grad Life at Western U, the Grad Club is a home away from home for all graduate students and associate members. The Grad Club is located at the lower level of the Middlesex College. 
  • The SpokeUniversity Community Centre (UCC) Ground floor. Café, M – F, 08:00 – 14:00, Kitchen and Bar, M – F, 11:00 – 14:00. Sit-in or order online for take-out. 
    • The Spoke was established in 1969, originally named The Spoke and Rim Tavern. The Spoke employs over 100 part-time Western students and is a common meeting place on campus. They offer a variety of appetizers salads, wraps and sandwiches.
  • The Wave RestaurantUCC, 2nd floor. M – F, 11.00 – 14:00. Sit-in or order online for take-out. 
    • The Wave offers the best in casual dining in the heart of Western campus. Guests enjoy selections from our gourmet burger menu, fresh pastas, entree salads, wraps & grill items. Our friendly staff, great food, drinks & atmosphere make The Wave the most popular eatery on campus!

Food trucks on Western campus

A few food trucks have agreed to serve Western Campus during the CAP congress. These food trucks are normally parked on Kent Walk or in between the SSC and PAB building, in front of the McIntosh Gallery (availability may be subject to change):

Downtown Eateries (walking distance from hotels)

There is a vast choice of restaurants in Downtown London, which are primarily located on Richmond Row and around the Covent Garden Market, at walking distance from all of the three recommended hotels (The Park, Residence Inn and Delta Armouries). Please enquire at your hotel reception desk.
