Elle englobe des \u00e9tudes interdisciplinaires des ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes nucl\u00e9aires dans le cosmos et l&#8217;utilisation des propri\u00e9t\u00e9s nucl\u00e9aires pour sonder les forces fondamentales. Elle comprend aussi le d\u00e9veloppement de d\u00e9tecteurs, d&#8217;instruments et de nouvelles technologies \u00e0 l&#8217;appui de ces \u00e9tudes.
