London Airport (YXU)<\/strong><\/p>\n Air Canada and WestJet provide air service from Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal to London<\/a> Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ)<\/b><\/p>\n Toronto Pearson International Airport, one of the largest airports in Canada and a hub for many flights and airlines, is a 2-hour drive (180 km) to London via Highway 401.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Detroit Metro Airport (DTW)<\/b><\/p>\n Another Airport close to London (2h30\u2019 drive, 225 km) is the Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport. As this airport is located in the United States, delegates are advised to check their travel and visa requirements prior to booking their flights to this destination.<\/span><\/p>\n Train services to London (Downtown)<\/b><\/p>\n Via Rail<\/a> provides several train services per day to London<\/span><\/p>\n Bus services to London (Downtown or Western campus)<\/b><\/p>\n There are several bus companies that provide transportation from Detroit, Toronto, and some other cities in Southwestern Ontario (such as Kitchener\/Waterloo and Windsor) to London. Some of these buses also stop at Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ). Tickets can be pre-purchased online:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Onex Bus<\/b>: <\/span>https:\/\/onexbus.com\/<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n Raider Express:<\/b> https:\/\/riderexpress.ca\/<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n Flixbus:<\/b> https:\/\/www.flixbus.ca\/<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n Megabus:<\/b> https:\/\/ca.megabus.com\/<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n Most of the buses have a stop in Downtown London and one on Western Campus. Information regarding LTC accessibility services can be found on <\/span>https:\/\/www.londontransit.ca\/accessibility\/<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n There are no city bus stops at the London Via Rail station. However, there are several bus stops in a walking distance. Bus Stops near Via Rail (downtown) with buses to Western campus are:<\/span><\/p>\n City bus service to\/from London Airport (route 36) is M-F only and impractical.<\/span><\/p>\n Due to construction, some of the city buses might be on detour so please confirm the bus stops and<\/span>\u00a0routes. Google Maps information on buses and bus stops (see above) is relatively well maintained and can be trusted most of the time.<\/span><\/p>\n The major LTC bus stop on Western Campus is situated at the <\/span>Natural Science Centre (NSC<\/b><\/a>) in front of the Physics & Astronomy Building (PAB) and near the Social Science Centre (SSC), where the Congress primarily takes place.<\/span><\/p>\n Uber and Lyft<\/b><\/p>\n Both Uber and Lyft are now available in London. So, if you are considering using them, please make sure to have their app installed on your mobile phone.
