As a general guideline, the article should be no more than 2300 words (including references), less 300 words per figure included in the article.<\/li>\n<li>The manuscript must be formatted for 8 1\/2&#215;11 (letter) paper, and should be double-spaced.<\/li>\n<li>The paper must begin with the title (centered), authors (including affiliation and email address, also centered) and an &#8220;abstract&#8221; (summary of the content) of 25 words or less.<\/li>\n<li>Use the following format for section headings:\u00a0<strong>SECTION<\/strong>\u00a0\/\u00a0<strong>Subsection<\/strong>\u00a0\/\u00a0<u>SUBSUBSECTION<\/u>.<\/li>\n<li>Each figure must be placed in an appropriate location and be referenced in the text. It must also include a caption clearly describing its content.\u00a0 (See note below regarding colour figures.)<\/li>\n<li>References appear as numbers in square brackets within the body of the paper (e.g., [1]), and are then listed at the end of the paper in numerical order (DO NOT use the endnote feature in your word processing package), using the following formats:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p><u>Articles<\/u>:<\/p>\n<ol class=\"content-list\">\n<li>A. Einstein, B. Podolsky, and N. Rosen, &#8220;Can quantum-mechanical description of physical reality be considered complete?&#8221;,\u00a0<em>Phys. Rev.<\/em>\u00a0<strong>47,<\/strong>\u00a0777-780 (1935).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><u>Books<\/u>:<\/p>\n<ol class=\"content-list\">\n<li class=\"rteindent1\">P.A.M. Dirac, &#8220;<em>The principles of quantum mechanics, 4th edition<\/em>&#8220;, Oxford Science Publications, 1982.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>If a reference has more than three authors, use the first author only, as in: A. Einstein,\u00a0<em>et al<\/em>., &#8220;Can&#8230;&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><strong>FILE FORMAT<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Two versions of the paper must be submitted electronically: a word version and a pdf version (fonts embedded). The word format will be used for typesetting; the pdf will help to ensure that mathematical symbols are correctly typeset. Both versions, as well as individual, high-resolution (300 dpi) graphic files (.jpg, .tif, or .pdf (fonts embedded)) for each figure and a high-resolution (2&#215;2) or low resolution (3&#215;5 or larger) photo of the author must be received by the CAP office\u00a0<u>(<a href=\"mailto:pic-pac@cap.ca\">pic-pac@cap.ca<\/a>)<\/u>\u00a0by August 1.<\/p>\n<p>NOTE: A minimal fee is charged for each colour figure (including the author photo); there is no charge for B&amp;W figures.
